Mac Pro 2019 / 2020 (MacPro7,1) and Mac Pro Rack — DDR4 2933MHz PC4-23400 and DDR4 2666MHz PC4-21300, in ECC Registered RDIMM and ECC Load-Reduced LRDIMM. Kits from a single 8GB module to 1.5TB across all twelve slots (12×128GB LRDIMM). The 8-core model takes 2666MHz; the 12-core and above take 2933MHz — each is listed separately so you don't have to work it out.
iMac Pro 2017 (iMacPro1,1) — DDR4 2666MHz PC4-21300 ECC RDIMM, 64GB to 512GB.
Mac Pro 2013 (MacPro6,1) — DDR3 1866MHz PC3-14900 and DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10600 ECC RDIMM, 32GB to 128GB.
Mac Pro 2010–2012 (MacPro5,1) — DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10600 ECC RDIMM, 64GB and 128GB kits. The classic cheese-grater tower still runs, and 128GB is still a serious machine.
Why the model identifier matters. Apple used different speeds, ranks and form factors across these machines, and a module that fits the slot won't necessarily post. Every kit here is listed against the machine it was tested in — find yours under → About This Mac, and match the identifier.
A note on the 2023 Mac Pro. The M2 Ultra Mac Pro uses unified memory built into the processor. It cannot be upgraded — not by us, not by anyone, not by Apple after purchase. If you have that machine, its PCIe slots are expandable but its RAM is fixed. We'd rather say so than sell you something that won't work.
